Postdoctoral Position in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Category Learning UCLA Department of Psychology

Three-year position available in the lab of Dr. Russell Poldrack for a project examining the cognitive neuroscience of human category learning using fMRI. This project (jointly with Dr. Mark Gluck of Rutgers Univ.) will use fMRI to examine the roles of basal ganglia and medial temporal lobe mechanisms in category learning. Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of Linux/UNIX, MATLAB, and advanced statistics/signal processing strongly preferred. Experience with neuroimaging and with cognitive studies of categorization is desirable but not necessary. Additional information about the lab is available at http://www.poldracklab.org/.
