Nana Sintim-Damoa. (calypso620@hotmail.com)
Hi. My name is Nana Sintim-Damoa, and I am a third-year student majoring in biology and minoring and in psychology. I am also a premed student and am convinced that it is my calling in life to become a medical doctor. I believe Rutgers-Newark, with its modern campus and urban setting is the perfect place for me to break out of my insular world and open up my horizons to the true reality of life. College, to me, is a quest to become a well-rounded person. The past three years have taught me so much about different academic disciplines but also about people, including myself. I truly have a firmer understanding of my role in this world and a greater appreciation for all of its beauty. I have participated in charity walks for a cure for diabetes and have volunteered as a tutor at a Newark public school. In my spare time I enjoy reading novels, dancing, drawing, and listening to many different types of music. I am looking forward to working on the Memory Disorders Project because the internship will merge both of my strong interests in biology and psychology. |
